Slowness is IN when you are in yin. The stretches are held for a long time, with the support of yoga blocks, pillows and blankets we melt into the position and let go of any tension. This type of yoga sends positive impulses to the deep layers of connective tissue. Tensions and blockages on the physical and energetic level are harmonized and Prana (your energy) starts to flow. Yin Yoga reduces stress on all levels and has a meditative effect on body, mind and soul.
